Question

Ok, Here one for you, How on earth do I identify the make and model of my immobiliser, The factory fitted one was replaced with a Cat2 immobiliser before I bought the car and as far as i know before the previous owner bought the car, Now I only have one thingymajig to un-immobilise the car, so if i loose it i'm buggered! I have no idea where the immobiliser unit is located in the car and there is no identification on the thingymajig (Technical term! ) so how do i find the make and model so I can get a spare made!!!!?

Cheers

Details of the make and model of the immobiliser should be on your certificate of installation.

Take it to someone VSIB approved; they should be able to certify that the unit is installed and working correctly for your insurance.

They will charge for this service
