Question

Is it possible to link the folding mirrors on a 94 WRX to the alarm so they fold in when armed. I have a cobra Cat 1 Alarm with window closers. If so anyone got any wiring diagrams??

Cheers Scott

I've done this frequently on Mitsubishi FTO, which uses two wires to the seperate lock/unlock wires. These are negative pulse and need to be converted to pulse positive for the mirrors. I suspect the Subaru mirrors are also positive operation, check at the switch. Then because your alarm will probably configured for polarity reversal (motor in the door)you may be able to use two diodes to link into the locking wires. Any decent alarm installer will be able to suss this out for you.

you can do it as long as your mirror switch is one touch, but if it is a rocker witch you will need a window lifter and a couple of relays. if need details mail me.
