looking to put a thatcham cat alarm in a 95/96 wrx sti ra. has no creature comforts ie. electric nuthin. insurance company will not even touch the car without one of these babies. i dont want to scrimp but i dont want to get shafted either. i want to protect my investment so can any of u guys n gals out there recommend a cat 1 alarm/anti-theft device. can u also give me an idea how much this is gonna sting me coz i would rather put the money into a set of 18 inchers rather than something to deter the "the little bar stewards" who are now stealing imprezas to order in belfast.

clifford concept 300 for £320. Not to expensive but is still great.

Have you looked into tracker as well. Some insurances wont insure you unless you got a tracker (atleast a trakcer monitor)

i know, thats why im coming to you! I meant to say you were doing it for £320 for me for the clifford 300, to work off the HKS turbo timer and window lifters.
