Since seein' my Prodrive wing it a very sad state i looked into this a bit. I think the only thing you can do is fit a very good vibration sensor to the alarm (if it hasn't alreday got one) so as soon as they give it a tug the alarm goes off. Might get a few false alarms (cats seem to like to jump on mine and go to sleep on the scoop) but i'd rather have a few false alrams and keep my wing in goo condition.
Bonding it on, bigger washers etc would just end up damaging the boot lid more and i think would still **** the spoiler up too. My wing is being repaired (over £200 !!!!) but im not going to fit it till i move into our new house with a nice garage for the car to hid away in.
Anybody know who can supply those sunken posts, want to put one infront of the garage so the door can't be opened and car can't get out?
Tony.
