Tracker?
#1
Being a young driver of a MY00 scooby I want to do everything I can to reduce the insurance costs.
Was thinking about getting a tracker but have not been able to find much information about them. Can anyone recommend a decent tracker? RAC trackstar is about £500 and this is the only one sold in the places I have been too so far. Would like some unbiased opinons rather than sales talk.
Even if the premium is not reduced that much I would feel better there is a better chance of catching someone nicking the car.
Thanks in advance.

consider the seimens datatrak(formerly securicor datatrak). this runs on its own beacon system and does there fore not rely on mobile phone masts or the main GPS network. if the car requires tracking it is shown on a actual road map with speed, direction, compass bearing etc. i have had it for the last four years and can be moved from car to car. contact seimens in bracknell, berkshire for more info or local security specialist. i got it because securicor designed it for their high value loads and even the police thought it was good as they use it to.
