Hi,
Dont think they would sell it as an AUTO security device if it did...
It is independent and only fires a electric spark around the head of the actual tazer itself.... its more a deterant...

IMHO, and as the opposite to Kryten's story, I think they're very ineffective. At a sound off a few years ago the local gits were taking it in turns to hold them until the batteries drained.
They can't be very shocking for legal reasons.

His was an import from somewhere else. Left one of the guys at the stereo shop feeling very ill when he forgot to disarm it one morning!
