Alarm remotes
This morning, when plinking the car to open the doors, it took two presses. When i got to my destination, it also took two presses to lock the car.
I made a mental note to check whether the battery was low, and carried on.
When i got back home, again it took a couple of presses to lock the car - at which point i noticed that the battery cover was missing
I must admit that i don't look at the fob when i use it - it becomes an automatic action - but i was well miffed that the battery cover was missing.
Luckily i found the said piece of plastic under my car, outside my house (phew!), but i dread to think how much Subaru would charge for a replacement (which would be essential!).
So a lesson for us all - check your battery cover is fully screwed on!!!
