Default Sigma M30 flasher issue

Hi all,
I bought my first Subaru early last year, a MY01 WRX. Really in love with it but I've got an intermittent problem with, I believe the Sigma M30 module or somewhere in the wiring.

A few months into ownership my indicator lights stopped flashing upon locking & unlocking the car. A few weeks went by and they randomly came back when I locked up one morning.
Fast forward another month or two and it happened again, The lights stopped working. Although they did return on a trip I took to Costco one day....They "broke" when I had returned home again.
They've now not functioned correctly for at least the last 6 months

This is the information I have:
  1. My turn signals function perfectly.
  2. My Hazard switch works perfectly.
  3. The actual alarm appears to be fully functional as it sounds as normal
Appreciate this is a bit of a 'first world problem' but its irritating having had it functioning normally before and now nothing. Im no professional at any of this but before I start digging out looms or something would like some more advice.

Could this be as simple as a stuck relay in the security module or an issue with the wiring somewhere? Would like to explore all avenues I might be able to attempt myself before paying an autoelectrician to fix, or worst case replace, The alarm

Thanks for any help you can offer

Sounds as if the Alarm PCB relay for the indicator circuits is sticking/failing.

The three relays on the PCB.....

All are double make contact

Hi Don, Thanks for replying.

Apologies in advance as I have little knowledge or experience when it comes to the electrics other than installing a radio.
Would this 'simply' be a case of purchasing replacement relays and then installing them onto the board? I'm assuming they are all soldered on.
Worried this may be beyond my abilities and I will cause more issues attempting to fix it

Thanks

The Sigma M30 Alarm units are no longer manufactured having been superceded by the Sigma S series range.
https://www.scorpionauto.com/hardwar...sers/s-series/
Secondhand M30 units do come up on Ebay but need a matched/paired working fob and preferably the PIN code for the keypad.
It's possible it could also be a power supply problem for that circuit.
It may be best finding a local scorpion/toad alarm installer for advice on how to proceed.

Thanks again Don.

Seeing as its only a superficial issue currently, I've decided to just live with it for the time being.
I'll keep an eye on Ebay incase any cheaper M30 units come up.

I might just starting putting some money aside to get a more modern system installed in the future.

Usually the relays, can't remember which of the 3 is the one that controls the indicators but pretty sure its the bigger of the 4 as it has to circuits in it, one for each indicator, the others control the fuel pump relay and ignition relay and something else for the immobiliser part of the alarm.
Unfortunately I think the relays are now discontinued and I haven't been able to find a suitable replacement, at least yours has failed in the off position, I've heard of others that have failed in the on position leaving the indicators stuck on.

Could be a dry joint on a sloder connection or the relays packing in
