Default gc8 import '92 replacement key.

Hi, my only key is very worn and is starting to have problems, having spoken to my local scooby dealer they can only get me a blank. Is there anyone who can supply a cut key? And is the four digit number on my key the key code?
Thanks.

Thanks.
Your local dealer should be able to supply a blank and cut it. I went to my local dealership when I bought my car, paid £4.50 for a spare key. Supplied and cut by the dealership. Price will have went up now, I've had the car since 2005.

All JDM Imprezas, and pretty sure all Imprezas, use the same key blank profile, that's how a lot of us on here with JDM classics have newage STI titanium keys.

The likes of Timpson's etc will able to supply a replacement key cut to yours. If they can't supply the blank, then dealer or ebay and get them to cut it.

Default key number not code.

Sorry, when I said key code I meant the key number not coded for an immobiliser.

I cant get a blank copied the original is too badly worn down, I would just end up with two keys that don't work properly.
