Post 2008+ sti coded alarm

Right chaps ive read that the dealer can activate the code keypad so it asks for a code before allowing the car to start so evan if the keys are stolen or your car jacked as soon as its shut down it will ask for the code.

My question is has anyone had it done yet?
Any problems ?
Or is it a pain putting code in all time ?

Cheers chaps

Key Theft Protection is one of the programming features of the Sigma S32 Alarm.

If Key Theft Protection has been selected on the security system the PIN must be entered again following disarming to unset the immobiliser
You'd probably soon get fed up with it - I know I would

Yes, You don't have to have it fitted there. You'll need to locate the alarm ecu which is above the radio & unplug it, follow the wires back to the keypad cutting the zip ties off it. Move it were you desire and re secure the wires and plug back into the alarm ecu
