Default Sigma Siren Cable

Hi All,

I have a 53 plate WRX which has a Sigma M30 alarm system fitted.

The siren does not sound. - I have read a few posts on here about sirens not working due to being dead/batteries etc however, I have just been out to the car to take a look and from the back of the siren there are a bunch of cables in a loom going into the car behind the dash board which I assume is where the control box is, but then there is a single cable going off under the fuse box in the engine. I followed this cable, got to the end and it wasn't attached to anything, but looks like it has been. It has a blue connection at the end with a small rectangle peg like "plug" on the end.

Where is this meant to go?! Is this the reason the alarm is not working?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

As mentioned, that would have been the wire for the bonnet switch.
