Did anyone happen to accidentlaly pick up a dark blue shirt on Saturday at the karting ? It's a thick lined shirt made by Quiksilver - a kind of fleecy material.
I'm hoping it hasn't been nicked, as that would cast a nasty shadow over the event as far as I was concerned, so am hoping someone might have seen it ??
Last seen in the hut where the briefing was held. I'm fairly sure it had a boarding card stub in the left breast pocket with my name on it too !!
Any news would be gratefully recieved as it was a present

I was back down there on Sunday and asked around then but no luck. I'll buzz them again at the weekend and check again.
Thanks for the concern though John. Can't believe it was purposely taken by any of the sidc members, so am hoping it turns up.
And thanks again for a superb day

Found I am realy gonna get a slaggin for this.
It's hangin up on my cupdboard door. I thought it was a friends.
The main thing is that's it's not lost, be happy to return it to you. Are you goin to the Kames at the weekend, or can someone pick it up from me at Kames and bring it back to you?

Neither wonder you've got tinted windows - it's to hide all the stuff you've half inched on your travels

Rich S,
Yep, that would be handy if you don't mind. Where in Edinburgh are you ? I could pick up from you Sunday night or any day except Monday ? Do you know Scoty ?

I'll probably be out on Sunday night - but you could pick it up from my workplace (office hours) any day during the week - if that suits.
We have three branches: Leith, Bruntsfield or Sighthill, so I can easily have it waiting for you at any of them from Monday lunchtime onwards. You'll find addresses etc on our websitewww.pentlandcomponents.com
Do I know Scoty?
- er not sure! I've probably met him at a previous meet, but just haven't associated his face with his username.
No matter - I can e-mail him today and arrange the drop at Kames.
Let me know where/when you want to pick it up.

LOL - race training every thursday night? - bloody hell that was a long time ago!
Dave, you're name certainly rings a bell, but being socially inept I can't quite picture your face yet - it will come to me though. <slightly embarrassed>
I've just spoken to Alex (my brother) who's based up at the Sighthill branch, so he knows to expect an old Hillender demanding a shirt sometime next week.
(You still skiing BTW?)
I've e-mailled Scoty to let him know.
Cheers
Rich

Yep, I don't even want to think about how many years ago that was !
I still ski quite a bit, but not so much in Scotland these days (getting soft in my old age...... no smart comments please !).
I also help run a disabled ski club at Hillend on Monday nights, which at least gets me on the planks on a regular basis (volunteers always welcome by the way ). Don't get out nearly as often as I'd like to though. Spend a fair bit of time karting and working these days.
Thanks for arranging the pick up for me anyway, and I'll hopefully see you at the next event (or next time I need some car bits !). Hey, do sidc members get a healthy discount at Pentland ??
Cheers

Glad to here you're putting your skiing skills to good use
Haven't skied for ages myself - must dust off the old gear and venture out again!
Not sure about volunteering to help with the club - it sounds like you're doing a fantastic job , but with various other commitments I'm a bit stretched as it is. Will bere it in mind though for the future, I would imagine that it is very rewarding.
Yes, but it depends on what it is - I can be more flexible with some items than others. Contact me directly (e-mail is best if it's not an emergency) when / if you need anything.
If you want, give me a shout just before the next SIDC/SN day. Assuming we're both going, we could meet up and travel in convoy
