Default mappable ecu wanted

Hi.am lookin 4 a mappable ecu that will plug straight in.i have a 1998 wrx wagon.it has sti heads and cams,sti inlet manafold,equall length headers,3"turbo back,de cat,engine was fully rebuilt 15000 miles ago with full steel gaskets.i was wondering if any other impreza ecus will plug straight in.the ecu i have is the 3 plug 8s.i also tryed 1 from a 1998type r but the car doesnt start it just windes over.any help will be much appreciated.

You need to look in the for sale section for a power fc ECU or simtek.

esl motherboard is available now for 98 cars bud.

Just make sure its for your year as there are different versions

I think it's about £550 but that's fitted and mapped I'm sure there was an ecu for sale here with an esl board fitted for 150 quid. It might have been a 4 plug ecu tho.
