Sory this is for a classic 09/96 to 08/98 with 3 plug in holes

Do u know if all 3 plug ecus r the same m8?will this 1 work on a 1998 wrx wagon?the reason i ask is i bought a 3 plug type r ecu from the same year but it didnt work

im sure i already pm'd u about this :P but this came of my 98 but i had it on my 96 too, But FYI after the v3/96 subaru revised and changed the pin layout on the v4/98 so they may fit into one another but the crank angle sensor and one other pin needs to be changed on the loom in order for it to work. when u connect the 96 ECU to 98 all dash lights come on but it wont crank
