Anyone know anywhere in either Edinburgh (or near) or Aberdeen (or near) that you can hire a 'sports car' for the day .. ?
I'm thinking along the lines of older 911 cabriolet, E-type or something similar (even Ferrari 348 etc) .. thinking I may do something on the 'day off' I have soon?

If you want to do it on a regular basis, then I can recommend the classic car club, who have just recently opened a branch in Edinburgh.
They's got Ferrari's, E type Jags, EVO 7, Caterham Superlights etc, as well as more stately forms of transport.
Yes it's expensive (about £2k per year), but you would get loads of days in a choice of vehicles, and everything apart from fuel is included.
