Just got my first scooby. A nice imported WRX wagon auto. Had a quick blast ( under the legal limit) on the back road to calander yesterday. Boy can these things shift, and stick to road while doing it. Well thought I would say Hi. So "HI".

With regards

Ed

Hi Ed

There is a track day at Kames this weekend, feel free to pop along if you aren't doing anything, it will give you a chance to put some faces to usernames (although in many cases you are probably better off not to )

Kames sprint track is down in Ayrshire near (or in) a town called Muirkirk. It is just off the M74 junction 11 or 12 (can't remember which )

There will be people there from about 9am until about 5pm

Stuart

Ed, if you are travelling down from Glasgow there will be a few of us heading down first thing in the morning, if you keep your eyes posted there will be threads to arrange somewhere to meet.

Auto? Not many of them about, IIRC standing start performance is better than the manuals

I got named Ed-209 by pals at school when robocop first came out in about 84 due to me playing with computers and little robots called turtels. And the name just stuck. I have a website ( unfinished due to work) at www.ed-209.com looking to get a private plate with ether EDD 1E or some thing like ED 209 / 209 ED but both would cost fortunes. So have to stick to getting ED-209 put under reg numbers.

Ed
