Default Stolen Car - Glasgow Area 02-06-10

Some idiot has just managed to steal my car in the Glasgow area.

Keep your eyes out for it guys is a Red Turbo wagon and a big exhaust.

The police are looking out for it as it was stolen at 1am this morning. I was up and heard the car start as they drove away with no lights on.

The boys in blue picked it up after about 35-40 minutes... It looked like half the force were out looking for it! A big thank you to them. Hopefully not too much damage.

Thieves seemed to know what they were doing. Watch out people in the Glasgow area, just in case.

It was recovered about 4 or 5 miles away in a quiet culdesac. There was an army of about 10 police around it! Don't know how the scumbags got around my Cat1 Clifford alarm and imob? The alarm is about 5-10 years old, I thought it should still be ok? I think I'll invest in a new Cat1 alarm and some other security products. Can you get an integrated taser?

Watch out people. The nerve of these guys is unbelievable. My neighbours saw 2 suspicious guys hanging around in a small silver car earlier on.

Thankyou again to the police as they were brand new about the whole incident and couldn't have been more helpful.

Probably a badly installed system these have anti grab technology, but wagons are normally stolen due to the fact they can fit things in the back easier, mainly smash n grab raids

Default Theft

It was a Cliff Concept 300 Cat1 the previous owner had it fitted by an approved VSIB installer. Not sure if it has the same features as the G4 or G5 Cliffords?

sounds proffesional...steal the car, only take it a couple of miles away and park it up in a quiet spot where it wouldnt look out of place, then sit and watch.....or come back the next day.

If it's still there they take it away. Basically the robbing gits know that a majority of insurance companies insist on a tracker these days, so they wait to se if it has one fitted.
