I have been building a custom 1966 camper for the last year; I have fitted it with custom brakes, steering, suspension, gearbox, cage and electrics may parts are one offs. Now comes the engine, I got a great deal on a 1994 2.0t WRX jap import engine which I am in the middle of sourcing parts for and cleaning. I don't plan on splitting the block as all signs point to it being ok so it is strip down that far. What I'm looking for is help changing the timing belt and putting her back together. I'm quite handy but have only ever played with classic engines in the past including mini and German air-cooled ones and would really appreciate someone to look over my shoulder and help out while I work on the rebuild and I am prepared to pay someone for their time. Please don't send me links to build shops as I want to do it in my garage in Granton and learn as we go.
