JDM newbie {pics added}
Hi
Thought I would say hi now im an actual owner of a scooby
Picked it up yesterday (6 hour drive each way but hopefully worth it!)
It seems to be having a few issues, which isnt the best start to new scooby ownership
Think there is a bit of a boost issue where it stutters and maybe boosts too high. hits 1.6bar but not sure if thats normal for JDMs
Just came back in from a drive and its also now driving terrible over 4k rpm. Hope this isnt going to be the start of expensive repairs
Its a 2003 JDM with a few tweaks.
any other JDM owners in the Glasgow area?
Hopefully get along to a meet (if there are any) and meet some of you.
Cheers
Ross

No 1.6 bar isnt normal, has the car been decatted and not remapped? (good probability) if so dont exceed 3k rpm (or keep off boost) as it will cause engine damage
You need to seek a speciallist asap (Andy Forrest is probably your closest) and get a serious opinion of what is up.
