dare say i'll be going for a thrashing, was planning to get the other halfs honda del sol on the road as i've done quite alot to it and think it would give the scooby a run for its money now

but thats not gonna happen so might take the scoob down and see how long it'll take before it blows up

Ha ha mate i was thinking you were hooked, i should be there hopefully my brakes will be here so i can put ma new wheels on aswell. Its a mag day expect to wait in line for the strip for a while as plenty cars turn up

I will definetly be up. There's a Focus Cosworth going that a guy from Fife has just finished building himself. Need to go and see that at least! Let's hope it's slightly warmer.

Mag day, so that means car needs to be sparkling
Question is whats the best way to make sure its clean coming from glasgow...........come up early to strip and give a quick wash down with water I bring in the boot?

i normally polish my cars at the raceway, but this scooby i have right now aint worth polishing

yeah the drag strip will be que'd a mile long

There will be 200+ cars racing... all trying to get a wee picture in whatever magazine is in attendance.

Think I'll be up, but the queues are crazy to race, so if I'm not up early then I wont be on the strip and I'll just look at the wonderful bodykits on show.

There is sometimes a big van that sits just in passed the main gate its got a power washer an **** i think, but i dont know how much it is. Apart fae that you might just have to pull in at a garage and wash it there

Who else went and sat in the que for 30 -45 mins, got there bout 11:30 an left 4:30 and only got 7 runs in. 230 odd cars signed up on the strip they ended up stopping the signing in as there was to many cars. Dont know when but 200 odd bikes are expected at a crail day soon

there was a white scooby there with black standard wheels looked like they was painted by brush. was that anyone on here?? had the cheek to laugh at my raft in the 1/4 mile que twice

dont think he was laughing when i left him standing twice tho

even wiped an evo fq340 with my 250 bhp scoob

only things that beat me was a 900cc bike and a seriously quick 1.3 starlet turbo i left him off the line by a long way and then he passed me near the end at some speed faster than me
