To say API did it in an hour, that can depend on several factors. The condition of the bolts (especially the downpipe ones) and existing equipment and the number of guys working on it. Simply 1 guy for 4 hours is 4 hours, 2 guys for 2 hours is still 4 hours.

Give them a call, there will be a standard rate for it as a task, then try negotiating from there

A clutch fit at APi on a 5 speed car is £200.00 + VAT If I decide to put 3 or 4 guys on to get it done quickly, that is my choice. It is a set price job.

AWD tried to charge one of our engine build customers £200 to change his clutch, when the engine was already out...............

Being a good Scotsman himself he 'negotiated'

Top guy's AWD. They are always highly recommended..

If it were my car I don't think i would be looking for a place that can do a f1 style change over. I would rather they took their time and made sure everything was spot on... It's easy to forget things when your rushed.
