Hi,
My Sti has a full decat system with an After Burner back box. I'm looking at changing it to something a bit quieter ( so the kids and neighbours dont comlpain to much).

Any suggestion please

Just get a bung. Pottle around quietly with the family, then whip it out and make your ears bleed when blasting on your own.

Failing that, the magnex is quiet. The ninja is still loud, but quieter than the AB. Advertise it as a swap in the FS or Wanted section on here.

The afterburner is a popular exhaust and there will always be someone wanting to swap for it.

I have an Apexi 1 piece decat from centre pipe to backbox m8 and it has a very subtle exhaust note.what model is it for?
The reason i ask is that im after a louder system myself.

the magnex is a very quiet exhaust which when ticking over is like a normal car then when u put the foot down it does get a bit loud with a lovley burble!!! would consider a swap!

I fitted the H&S back box to my last scoob and it sounded just right.
Nice and discreet around town but opened up nicely when the loud pedal was pressed
