LPG conversion
Apologies if this has been asked before recently. Im looking to convert a 2002 Outback to LPG, and want to use somewhere with experience converting Subaru's. Any recommendations much appreciated.
I'm in Linlithgow, but happy to go anywhere in Scotland for someone with experience and recommendation.
Thanks in advance

a caution
I've got a jdm MY97 wrx and have been keen to investigate lpg for it. Went to a very reputable mob today (Gas4Cars.com) who do conversions using sequential vapour injection and charge 1600, but he advised that valve seat recession is a certainty, especially if you do lots of motorway miles. It seems it's a question of valve seat hardness and he thinks my model, at least, is neither good nor bad, whereas many american engines are very good in this regard because they're built to last hundreds of thousands of miles, and many european ford and gm engines are very bad, and many jap engines are somewhere in the middle.
The reason I tell you this is that he could very easily have taken my money. Car would have gone fine for about 50-70k miles, he reckoned, by which time it'd begin to need replacing. Still, in that time you'd have saved about 2000 above the cost of conversion. So I'm still thinking about it.
If I go the gas route I will get a 1995 lexus ls400. Apparently the level of overengineering makes them perfect for it and they go forever. if anyone tells you any car could and should be converted, give them a very wide berth. Perhaps ring Subaru and ask them.
good luck

On a Legacy forum, I was advised that it was at least recomended, and possibly essential. I believe this is to address valve seat recession, but if anyone has heard that this isn't enough, and I should still expect a reduced life, then please correct me.
Thanks
Nathan
