Wink

I'd be interested...how much extra HP do you think the beefier big end bolts would give I'll probably come along for a nosey and run it after I get some extra bits added.

On another note I had a 'seat' in a new TVR 4.5 Cerbera the other day.

If its not going to be really busy, would there be any chance of squeezing my car on the rollers ??

I was up last time (25th Nov) but SHOULD (he says with a hint of sarcastic hope) have the UniChip mapped and all ready to go on the 3rd Jan.

Trouble is, as its the 3rd time I have been to get this mapped (dont ask), I am getting it all done in one day so wont be passing STAR till around 7pm on Thursday so its too late
On the same note, I much prefer going to these things when there are 5+ others going as its more of a laugh

It wont be an invasion John Possibly 1 other person (Russ with the Calibra) may come but it might be just for watching.... I'll need to ask him

Cheers

Rich

Keith, I've been dribbling over one for about 6 months. I went into Logik at Dunfermline last week and had a seat in an new 4.5 Once I greased ma bum and the salesman 'popped me in it felt good ....mmmm...I've got my name on the list for a test drive when they register the new demonstrator.

Only real issue is will the bloody thing start everyday, so I'm tweaking the Evo and making a decision later in the year. And yes, I'm also thinking about an R34. Life is too hard with all these worries

Sam, I'm always on the lookout for a new car, although my taste is usually WAY out of my wallet size. I'm gonna have fun with the Evo over the next 6 to 12 months then see where I end up. Probably shiny side down in a field trying to keep up with you

I might just keep the "(??)" bit that you have there beside my name like that Sam and keep ya all in suspense

If it all goes to plan on 3rd Jan then there should be a nice surprise

Sounds like I'll have the lowest power on the day then.

Derek what are your mods? Gza? I am trying to compare the effects of my mods with others with fairly standard cars.

hi john

i am not sure but Gza may have a standard car. derek will have a linked car which so far looks totally standard ie no down pipe, standard air box etc. i think so far he has only got a back box, so they both should not worry you.

Well they sound like two very useful references.

Will be great to see such a collection of interesting cars. Have you done anything to your Evo yet? Would love a quick ride...

no problem i will give you a ride.

i am not sure about the EVO though, i have not done anything to it yet just because there is not that much you can do to the 7 YET. it feels a little bit flat at the top end and i have got a feeling it is running quite rich as well, feels a bit rough at the top end.

we'll see

You're obviously comparing it to your old Scooby though. The thing that amazes me about Evos is how they go out the box. It seems like they have everything to start with - the right brakes, wheels, diffs, ? better clutch/gearbox, stronger internals. The 7 even looks good I think.

I hate to spoil all your fun but does it have to be Sunday the 13th? I've got other plans that day and I don't want to miss either of them!
Can't it be the Sunday before or the Sunday after?

Please?
