Hi
anyone else getting a misfire when cold?
my car has just started it today.
Did it twice.
Only for about 30 seconds.
I had just starting using some nice new quality octane booster.
I dont think its connected to it... as the car is running better overall with this stuff.

Dave, would it ok to drop by awd tomorrow?

cheers
Phil

i never made it to awd today - something came up. dave you should have an email with appology

car hasnt done it today.
I think it happened yesterday because of something that i dont normally do:
I usually drive for 30 mins each time I start the car for the first time on any day.
But yesterday I went only 5 mins - stopped the car, then an hour later started her again - and it was freezing.
Im thinking that there was condensation.
I only moved it back 5 mins up the road - and then stopped again.
Again when i started 2 hours later - it misfired.
both times the water got up to temperature - but i doubt the whole engine was ready. I went for a *ahem* spirited drive for 40 mins instead of just driving 5 mins back up the road.

This morning no sign of the misfire at all.

however, this may have been fluke and i aint car mechanics minded really - so i intend to drop by awd asap to get things checked
