Default where to repaint alloys in aberdeen

does anyone know of a place in aberdeen that will fix and repaint my alloys

what sort of price am i looking at

also my alloys has one centre cap missing is it possible to buy just one centre cap from a shop

Lots of guys use PPS in Inverurie for powder cotaing/painting alloys.

quoted £260 for the wheels to be repaired and painted plus the wheels to be taken off and refitted

is this a good price

depends on damage to wheels

ive used PPS before and they were spot on.

so i wouldnt bother going elsewhere.

dont think they do fella. i just spoke to keith and popped round with my wheels to get a price. they do require you to take tyres off first.

i think i'd be almost as cheap to just get a new set of wheels without tyres

as i have 4 good tyres

ouch...thats a tad expensive in my opinion....depends on damage but around 25-40 per wheel is about norm...

yeah i also got a email from them saying if any need welding it will cost £30 each wheel i know one does so i aint going with that

i "heard" after wheels have been treated they tend to become a little brittle and unreliable , and are prone to cracking in some cases , maybe worth lookin into that before ya decide what to do m8

i am just going to buy a set with no tyre's after that quote

will get a good enough set for 300-400
