been to maybole for some petrol and no optimax, am sure i read in another post something about none up north as well. Anyone know whats the score? and does anyone know where other shell garages are in ayrshire?

Just to say Killie ran out of Optimax on saturday and they are the only other Optrimax suppliers in Ayrshire.

Went to Bp to put in ultimate as a replacement **** me it was 103.9 per liter last night. Not going back to Bp

Tried 4 garages today with no luck on Optimax! Will have to do with BP Ultimate. One of the garages told me that there was a shortage with tanker drivers so normal unleaded and diesel come 1st!

No optimax at the Erskine Shell garage either a few days ago, had to travel to Clydebank to get some at the expensive cost of 1.03

I was thinking of heading to Ullapool area next week when I'm off (same as I did last year ) but I think I'll need to fill up @ Inversnecky @ that price If I do look out for me WRX300 with "GUS" number plate

Hmmm - Esso at Inverness - think they were charging 100.9 or 103.9, forget now. At least it's still 98 RON in Ullapool, though I'm sure there's a Shell somewhere in Inverness - just not handy for me.
Real bummer was the loss the other year of Super at Contin - that was a great location. Oh well.
