Wow, what an excellent weekend!
300 miles on Friday with Andy from the 1stLotus Driving School taking in Glencoe, Fort William, Newtonmore, Loch Tay, Crieff & Glen Devon!
100 miles around Knockhill on Saturday, some of which with Andy driving; he used to race Formula Renault and Touring Cars!
200 miles across to Loch Lomond on Sunday for the Cameron House BBQ and onwards to Loch Tay for the speedboat ride!
Many miles and obscene amounts of SUL later the car was in serious need of some TLC!
Home from work early tonight, an hours labour and the car is looking clean again.
However opening the bonnet I was amazed to find a bat (well done) lodged in the intercooler!
From the damage (to the bat) it must have entered at high speed and been slowly roasting for the last 48hrs! Luckly for me there doesn't appear to be any damage to the intercooler or my scoop!
Any idea how many BHP this might have cost me?
Many thanks to Andy, JohnS and Cameron for a truely memorable weekend.
Cheers,
Mark

A good weekend had by all I think.
Just the other week I got a very large crow wanting to end its happy life by looking at me and fluttering its wings and flying right in front of the scoop and lodging its self head first, luckly no damage was done.
Cheers,
VKL
