I've just been informed that the 25th March is actually Mothers Day!

I was planning to organise a run up the Lecht to the ski-centre for lunch etc with another car club. They are still planning to go ahead, and are leaving Westhill (Shepherd's Rest pub) just before 12, and plan to drive up the Lecht to have lunch, and quite a few games of pool before returning via Ballater (some great roads!!).

Combined with the fact that it's mothers day, the clocks change the night before, the ongoing foot and mouth crisis, and the fact there is still good skiiing to be had up there (road full of skiiers and snowboarders) could mean it's not the best date/time to have an event like this.

I'll still go ahead with all the arrangements if people are still keen, so need to get some feedback.
