Alford this weekend

For those of you who still have some fuel left, this is a reminder of the event taking place at Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, 25 miles west of Aberdeen on the A944 (I can recommend the A93 Glenshee/Braemar route to those travelling from the south).
This is a multi car club event, with a similar format to the past few we have attended there, and have proved very popular. Entry is about £3 each, and gives you access to the arena, where each car club will have a separate display area. Prizes are awarded to each car club for the best car on
display.
For an additional £5, you can register to use the small sprint track (most of the Impreza drivers take up this option). On the track by yourself, you get a few laps at a time to safely explore the limits of your car. Again there are prizes for the best cars on the track.
Future Events are:
Borders Meet II, 24th September
Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, 1st October
Knockhill Track Event, 6th October (booking forms e-mailed out tomorrow)
Brands Hatch, 27th October
