Advice please!
Had a few problems with my alloys.
Bought the car (used) from a well known dealership in Ayrshire, about a year ago.
Two front alloys cracked about 2-3 mnths after I'd bought it so I went to said dealership, who confirmed that the wheels were indeed knackered and they replaced them. Obviously I was happy with the outcome, but I have now noted that the coating on the rear wheels is de-bonding from the wheel and am concerned that the rear 2 are cracked as well.
Anyway, I'm going to see them tomorrow, but I still have a bit of a problem:
The only way they'll know if the wheels are cracked is if they remove the damaged coating/paint. If they do that and the wheels aren't cracked I then have two dodgy looking rear wheels.
Can I insist that they repair/replace the wheels?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, norry.
p.s. the only reason these wheels are giving me problems is because they were refurbished. I don't really think that 'repairing' them would be a favourable option.
