Question Flexible plastic for DIY Air box needed

Folks,

Forgetting all that is going on in the forum, I still have an Impreza to get sorted and I need you guys to help out.

Trying to build a divider/box section to capture cold air for my HKS (and get the engine bay heat out) - been racking my brains for a while and cant think of where to get a suitable plastic to build (around Glasgow area).

Needs to flexible, but strong enough not to buckle under moderate pressure, fire proof etc.

I've tried BnQ buts its only clear stuff - too brittle to shape I think. Would prefer a more flexible material - one with colour as well.

Any help mucho appreciated

What about some kind of plastic or acrylic roofing material - perspex like that would be strong, fire and waterproof and would have colour and be flexible?

Try RS componants in Townhead, we got a fuel proof/everything proof box for our twin faceted pumps for the rally car, they will have a box to suit or indeed modify.

These guys have everything.

Good luck but if you need a hand fitting gis a shout.

Excellent - cheers guys! Didnt realise that the trade counter was still operating RS as well - amazing how totally dense I can be at times.

See if i can do my best 'blue peter' with a empty bottle of fairy liquid, egg containers, sticky tape and some glitter
