what sort of choice do i have??
im quite tempted to get a scooby but i reckon i only have £5k to spend, what sort of choice do i have for that cash?
im not bothered about wrx, sti, modded uk's etc. for insurance purposes just a nice UK saloon turbo would be fine to be honest. is it just me or do most imports always seem to go bang? should i be able to pick up an M plater in good condition? also where are most people getting insurance nowadays, im 24 with 5 NCB so not expectng to pay toooooo much id hope
thanks

Tescos and Elephant are a couple of the more common insurers you should investigate which will both quote online for free, but theres a lot more info on the insurance forum though if you search through it.

Hey Kev.
If i were you i'd try and find an N/P plate UK. Don't worry about mods in general but if you see a decent one that also has the PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack) snap it up sharp! Better resales and it gives you an instant advantage over most other UK cars.
As an example my MY98 PPP with full decat made 260bhp at Star. Cars that still had both the cats were getting circa 240bhp IIRC, still 25/32bhp over standard depending on MY.
