At present I’m looking to change the exhaust system to a 3" S/S H&S system, it’s been advised that I have the car remapped after the exhaust upgrade.



Are there any good mappers in Scotland who come with bullet proof credentials?



Probably looking to go down the Ecutec route unless otherwise advised.



Has anyone here had there 22B remapped, and have you had any problems?

Cant be the only 22b in the country!

 

Don't think the 22b ECU can be remapped by EcuTek. They only support MY99 onwards and the 22b is a 98 IIRC. You'd need to check the model of ECU to be sure.

I would recommend Andy F, but you may need to go down the GEMS, Link route.

Sorry to jump in on you thread mate
I am also looking at getting a H&S full de cat and from the replies I got, according too everyone you don't need to remap your motor.
I have a MY99 2000 turbo, I don't know if this makes any difference.
Maybe someone can shed some light on the matter
