Brian, Swifts are not the problem mate. Third party let us down again. If I cannot get soething fixed for next weekend than I'll not be rnning at KH. Just how pi$$ed off do you think that would make me ??

Tried Godspeed for replacement disks...no-one answers the phone, along with various other suppliers. Only thing i can get soon are AP 355 6pots and unsure if I want to spend £1.5K on something that I'm only gonna keep for another 6-9 months

resale value of the AP's will be very good, but it would depend on the life of the discs when you come to sell. AP discs are v.expensive, so the price would have to reflect that if they would need replacing.

Ian @ Godspeed is very hard to get hold of as the phone will just ring and ring if he's working on the machines.

Hi John,

Hope you get something sorted. Not a great idea but have you tried Nobles to skim them - a waste of money but would get you on the track?!?

Stefan, that's what I done mate. Had a good conversation with tsl about the red caliper 6pot AP's. Very nearly melted the plastic, but managed to keep it in the wallet. Need to do some soul searching to see if they are worth it. I was also thinking of the resale when I punt the car on. mmm, or would they fit an evo with a different bell housing??!!

In the meantime I've e-mailed IanG.

Although does not help me out for next weekend. A bit scared that if I cane it with warped discs (very slightly warped) then I'll damage the hub/ bearing etc...

Who / where are CRD?

I was given this name by Pro-Cut:
Tommy Stevenson, Johnston, 01505 705543,
but never got round to trying him.

CRD, IMHO are a joke. Twice I had my Sti in for this work to get done, only to have them cancel...AFTER it was confirmed...twice at short notice..ie on the day!!! Not very professional, although I think they would do a good job, but they need to honour their commitments.

CRD are calder motors mate, just outside East Calder, behind what used to be 'The Bunker' nightclub. Unsure as to what CRD stands for, but can well imagine
