Any decent caravan parks on East Coast??
A friend is thinking about buying a static caravan on the east coast of Scotland, and is wanting to see what options are available.
Prerequisites :
- At least 2 bed rooms (preferably 3)
- Near a beach (preferably with sea view)
- No more than 90 mins from Edinburgh, ideally around an hour
- Less than £15k
Anyone know of anywhere matching these ? Already on the shortlist is Pease Bay and Coldingham, but does any one know of anywhere else ?
Thanks !
Dave

Dave,
you might want to try Thurston Manor near Dunbar. I've stayed a few times and it was a pretty high standard, good facilities (Indoor pool, gymn, bar restaurant etc). Owned by the same people who have Pease Bay I believe. About 2 miles from the beach though....

St.Andrews
Not sure of any names etc but if I were you i`d be thinking of St.Andrews. I`m sure there are a few decent sites there and you`ve got a few really nice beaches and is only about an hour from Edinburgh. You can also play golf with a heap of yank ***** wearing +4`s!!!.
