Default Anyone had the Prodrive Spring Kit Fitted?

Wondered if anyone had had it fitted and what they thought. Is there a noticeable change in the steering etc.?

Any feedback appreciated.

Cheers.

I'm thinking of getting it done - what car do you have - I have an 03 WRX. Seems to be well rated.

I'm thinking about it too (MY03 WRX STi PPP), but have recently heard about 2 Scottish Central Belt Scooby owners who've had it done and then went back to the dealers to have them taken off!!! Still keen but less sure now! Look at other posts on the 'Suspension' forum.

I've had it done on my 03 Sti. Sits better on the road, really good feel and feedback, although runs a little softer than the std set-up. Very good on the road, but way too soft when 'cruising' round knockhill

I had an initial issue with mine which has since been sorted. The car has a fair bit more grip and is nowhere near as understeery tha on the std springs.

Hugo, where you from mate? Can maybe meet up and take you for a 'spin' I'll be at the Motherwell/Hamilton meet on the 28th.

Had them for 4/5 months on my 03 WRX PPP wagon. Also running 18" Prodrive wheels with P zero rossos.

Well worth the cost at under £400 as they do improve the handling a lot but don't expect them to make the car what it should be as the standard car rolls so much they could'nt correct it in full with just springs!

What model year car we talkin about here?
I have just fitted Prodrives on my MY01 and its superb IMHO, not as low as Eibachs but easily as good if not better. Totally transform the cars feel.....now if only I was a good enough driver to exploit them

I find that the car is excellent in high speed corners but suffers on low speed corners, roundabouts and coming out of junctions. Roll is just far too pronounced in low speed direction changes.

I know that I have to get some of these extra things done to fix it but don't really know what I need and where to get it done. Also not sure about the warranty implications. Most get round to looking into it one day.................

Magic - thanks all. My car is an 03 WRX PPP. Does the car look any lower with the Prodrive springs on?

Cheers.
