I was wondering If anyone had any rally equipment they no longer need and would sell for a decent price?

Since the car is getting built from scratch anything for less we need pretty much everything for a 205 (inluding anti-tree magnets ).

I'm usually all over scotland so picking things up is not a problem.

RB5_245 ....Nice try m8 You are not alone though. See pics of ours on the KH hot hatch thread. It is an autocrosser rather than a rally car though. Got all the lights if you are interested.

I'm looking for stuff like helmets, intercom and the like (i though someone might just have some old stuff).

Also 205 parts like 1.9gti hubs, suspension and steering componenets. 1.6 gti wheels 14" any pug wheels 14" x 5.5, exhausts.

Johnny, cheers mate anthing's a help. So far the shopping list is about 3 grand with too much still to do! Only got the roll cage and fire extingushers so far.

I didn`t mean spots I meant headlights and indicators as you need these to be legal and the challenge guys I know keep hitting things!
I do have a set of Luke 4 points in good nick that you can have for 120 quid the pair. They are 90 quid each new.

 

brakes are a control item, 1.6 or 1.9 gti only, but cheers.

Get in touch with a guy called Ronnie Dunsmore from Larkhall.
He prepares a lot of 205's for rallying, so will have loads of parts.

I don't have a number for him, he is a member of the Coltness Car Club, or someone on here may know how to get in touch.

Failing that hang about the service area at the McRae stages and you'll find him.
