I drove up that way on Monday.

Be especially careful in all the towns & villages, that's usually where they place the camera van or radar speed traps.

On the de-restricted sections you just need to keep your eyes peeled, not just for police cars but also for tourists. A colleague at work witnessed a French man who parked his car, jumped out to take a photo, looked the wrong way and got hit by a passing car. Dead at the scene unfortunately......

Also look out for unmarked police cars from the driver training school, I almost overtook a V-reg Mondeo that was four-up near Callender! Opps!

Cheers, Mark

Thumbs up

Thanks Guys, I'll just use the loaf as per usual. Not seen the blue beemer for a wee while; a bit worried they've changed cars to keep things fresh 'cos this thing was so, so obvious (but you still saw brain deads getting done!).

For what it's worth, as an additional, there were unmarked bike cops operating in the area last month. one more thing to be aware of...

K.

They've still got the Blue BMW as well as a Black Merc (C Class Maybe?) and a Blue Merc (don't know what model, sorry). Seen the Black Merc and Blue BMW recently but haven't seen the Blue Merc for a wee while. All in the Glasgow area (BMW is residing at Ayr King Street at the moment so could be used for the good old A77 )
