Frickin money pit!!!!
AAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!
Went to my local Tyre place today as several enthusiastic laps of Knockhill have slaughtered my front tyres, this is understanable and expected. What was not expected was that I had noticed that my rear tyre was a little flat so I asked the bloke to check the valve. He checked the tyre (In my presence) and found that in fact there was a tear in the tyre wall which went right through! So you cant just replace one rear tyre can you?
4 new sodding tyres required at much expense!!!!
total bill for the last month for car only (Brakes,ECU,insurance ,track day + tyres) = 3 friggin grand!!!!!!
I feel sick

Surely someone on here knows where to source cheaper, quality tyres!
That's horrendous m8
I thought I got off to a bad start this week when the back box fell off the wife's mota.
I knew as soon as I took it in to the garage, they were going to tell me about the badly corroded shocks as well! Barstewards!
Only £140, so nowhere near as bad as you Judge.

I would get in touch with sg72 for a cracking "drivers" set-up IMO

Hi John
Nope sorry M8 will still have all the refinment i need once it's finished.
I ahve always said that i wasn't going to the Levels that you lot want , i am quite happy getting to 350 max if it only does 310 then fine i dont have any thing to prove i just wont a good driver's car with out going to all the expence and hassle that you lot are having.
I can't afford to replace broken iteam's or the such like. I will deffo not be putting on Header's either as i feel there is more hassle with these than there is drivability. :0
But hey that's me that's what i have always said i wanted.
Cheers Dougie
