FAO John Banks
Hey John
Heard you had problems in the past with the twin dump magnex downpipe. I was going to get one to mate up with my new Ninja backbox. My car is a MY96 Sti 2, would the open neck design be better or doesn't it matter?
Cheers
Stuart

The only issue was really the fitting with the gearbox bracket which was a nightmare, but I think the design was changed.
A more theoretical concern (unless you car is afflicted) is that the wastegate penny really blocks a lot of the flow that would go down the twin dump which can cause boost creep on some cars (unpredicatable).
I would go for an open neck downpipe, but the Magnex twin dump is not a bad choice.

Many thanks for the prompt reply. I think it is worth the extra few pounds for safety to go with the open neck. Who else besides TSL do a stainless one?
