may be barking up the wrong tree here but i had a similar problem on my old car. i refitted a radiator on my astra coupe and when i started it up i got cel and fans comin on. I know it aint a scooby but its just an idea. The problem was that the radiator was airlocked meaning no water was able to reach the sensor thus causing the ecu to start the fans,thinking it was overheating because it couldnt get a proper reading. there should be a bleeder on the radiator or in the heater matrix feed line.Either that or the sensor is gubbed. sorry guys thats all i can think off it might be worth checkin?
