Does anybody have wheels/tyres for sale?
Does anybody in Scotland have a set of wheels/tyres for sale (17"). I want to buy a brake kit but it wont fit over my existing wheels. It's also kinda urgent because my tyres are due for renewal VERY soon, and if I have to buy new tyres for the wheels I have then I won't be buying the brake kit.
I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance or meet half way.
Cheers!

Kilwinning! Just park your motor in Hayocks overnight m8. By the time you come back for it in the morning the old wheels will have gone and you can get new ones on the insurance!

we have a set of 4 17" multispokes for sale.
the only problem is that one of them need a little repair which we are told is easily done (obvisouly that one would be cheaper than the others).
if you want to check the damage then look on the wheels/tyres forum and I have a post in there (don't know how to do a linky thing to it - sorry)

Sorry m8 couldn't resist that one!
Just a word of warning, watch out for refurbished alloys.
I got a set of refurb's on my Scoob when I bought it. After about 6 weeks I noticed hairline cracking on three out of the five spokes.(front off-side wheel) By the time I got it to the garage, all five were cracked and they told me to leave the car where it was, as it was unsafe to drive! Apparently it was coz someone opened the oven door during the process.
Just be careful.
