Default STI 2 pots

After reading grants msg about brakes i was just wondering how long a set of my96 sti2 brakes will last before fading on the track, anyone done a track day at knockhill with standard stoppers?

Johnny I have an sti2 as well and after a hard country drive with some of my fellow glasgow scoobynetters they were well and truely cooked (with smoke and all!) I changed to the 4 pot subaru off a sti v5 but when i took it to knockhill it faded badly after about 3 hard laps. If you have the cash trust me get a big brake setup as only they can last on track!
Needless to say i cannot afford the high cost of these !
Hope that helps
Stuart

cheers m8, unfortunately like you i've no cash too many other things eating it up at the mo. Looks like i'm gonna have to stick with the 2 pots just now, prob only get 2 laps at a time though.

I cooked a brand new set of Mintex 1144s in a few hours of fun at KH.

That was on uprated 4pots off an MY01
