OK...

Just got off the phone to crash repair centre manager!!

He said that my parts will be in on Monday, so should get to work on Tuesday, which is great... Possibly have the Scoob back for next weekend!!

BUT!!

The rear alloy that hit the kerb, is a write off, and they have tried to source a replacement but cannot find anywhere that has one, due to it being an old design!!

Insurance company will NOT pay out on the whole set of alloys due to the suspension being a non-standard set-up, something that I wasnt told at the dealership... (but found out later and never declared it to the insurance company, typical eh! )

They have offered 149.99+VAT towards the price of a new rear alloy, however it looks as though I'll have to buy myself a new set as I cant see me being able to find 1 alloy for sale, nevermind a matching one!!

I need to get them an answer about when an alloy/alloys are on their way to them so that they can plan the repairs on the Scoob accordingly... That leaves me 2 days to sort something out!!

So what I am asking is:

Does anyone have, or know of anyone that has a set of 17" Alloys for sale... Tyres not important as I have 4 brand new un harmed P-Zero's sitting on my current alloys!!

Would consider 18", but tyres would have to be decent as cant afford to shell out for new set of 18" rubber bands as well, otherwise the price adjusted to take this into account!



The above, is my car, and in the hope that someone actually has a matching alloy for sale, I'll take it!!

Actually, does anyone know the Prodrive name for these wheels??

If it is a Prodrive wheel then a main dealer should be able to track one down for you

Grant, I have a set of 4 17" BK multi spokes (238s ?) I am looking to sell - silver, not perfect condition but good spare set with legal tyres to get you going if you are interested, maybe we can do a deal ?

Picked up the P1 Alloys last night from Angus, which were in very good condition, and dropped them off this morning at 8am sharp to the repair centre.

Talked to the guy who was working on my car and he said that there was nothing OBVIOUSLY wrong with the car apart from the parts which he had already replaced so once wheels are on and all tests have been carried out... It should be good to go by the weekend, otherwise we'll be looking at the start of next week sometime!!

Oh and hope you enjoy your new car when it arrives Angus!!

Hope you got your car back today and you like the look of the wheels - my mate used to have the same wheels on a silver classic and looked cool.

Lookin' forward to my new motor, just 5 weeks to go.........
