FINALLY got myself a nice Silver WRX, low miles, jap history, good condition etc etc

Got some money left over, looking for ideas what to buy. The car is bog standard EXCEPT a Greer Sport Exhaust and Induction Kit.

Gona get the HKS D/V from Scoty (group buy)

What sensible mods should i be spending money on -

Knocklink ?
Dawes Device ?
Fuel Cut Defender ?
Downpipe ?
ECU ?

Any opinions and reasons why would be greatly appreciated

Unhappy

If is a 94 then upgrade the brakes before you up the performance. It's better to be slow than dead.

sorry to bust the bubble.

Smile

glad your sorted.

I would get a knocklink fitted ASAP and run booster until you do. NF seems the best but hard to get at the moment. there is a garage in dalgety bay that sells millers octane plus. can't remember the name but go into dalgety bay from aberdour side. opposite graveyard turn into indusrial eastate, about 100yards on right there is his garage(it is on the same road as dobbies garden centre, just the aberdour end).

Sounds good mate u will have fun.

Not opening a debate but im running 2 pots on a MY95 WRX, just fitted drilled discs and EBC pads...

Unless ur doing some serious speeds (on roads u shouldnt) or track days concentrate on getting the knocklink first and improving breathing. U can always keep an eye out for new brakes and they arent too bad in the meantime.

My list would be

Knocklink
AFR Meter (if ur really paranoid)
Scoobyecu
De-Cat
Decent breathing, induction or panel filter

4 pot upgrade is advised, but u can always put money aside and wait for a good deal to come along, not too hard to fit.

If ur in a hurry there is someone selling pads 4 pots and discs on ebay just now.

PS Get the SAMCO turbo hoses if u want a good cheap mod that makes a difference..
