Where is it mate??

How far away, will it require a stay over somewhere, or is it fine to do in a day??

Cheers,
Grant

I will be going if i am home. Its always a mad rush to get to the stages before the come flying passed so i will have to get a map to see where they are going exacctly. Are the leaving from the thistle hotel as usual? There is quiet a few good resturants so you can treat the wife afterwards.

What's the script then for a gaf for the night?

Gonna treat Dodgy to a Valentines Night she will not forget!!

We have full winter camping gear but would rather not use it if there is anyone in the area with a barn and a couple of donkeys!!!

Cafe 1 is excellent - also very busy usually, so best to book first. same with the Mustard Seed.
They have the starting ramp in the High Street now, usually 9am. Best place to see them b4 any damage done
Will let u know the routes nearer the time if u like.
Note: be careful and watch out for the plods!

Cafe one, Mustard Seed, La Rivera - there is a fair amount of good places to take the romantic half too...

Little Miss STI - do u have any route details just now ? got my brakes sorted so defo heading out for this

Details are:
Scrutineering Friday 6-10pm, Peugeot Garage, Harbour Road, Inverness.
1st car leaves start ramp on High Street at 9.30am on Saturday.
Rally stages will not be released to competitors until 5th Feb, but stages will be north of Inverness.

Anyone wanting accommodation better be pretty quick - rumour has it that no rally cars etc allowed in Thistle car park on Friday night, so reckon lots of the travel inns etc will be booked up!

So, who's all going then?

I'm booked into a Travel Inn ( i think, whichever one is in the centre)for the friday and saturday, but now might not be able to make it.

The room is paid for, so if anyone gets stuck, let me know.

Dont think I will be getting along to this after all, the missus is going out the night before and dont think she would appreciate getting up at 5ish for a long haul up the road after a night on the tiles, or me abandoning her on valentines day

Believe that all stages are to the N of Inverness this year - a fair hike for me (Edinburgh) so may have to give it a miss unfortunately.
