After my plea on this forum for connectors for my Knocklink after I had idiotically broke one I was very pleasantly surprised to recieve a phone call on my mobile from Richard Small at Pentland Components,Leith,Edinburgh. This is the company that had initally supplied the bosch sensor kit to me (In perfect working order). Richard told me that he had seen my post and told me that he would sent out another fitting kit free of charge to me next post!

You cannot beat that for service!Huge thanks to Richard, and to anyone who requires Knocklink sensors or any type of electrical components my advice would be to use them!

Dude, I get tanked by everyone I play

When we first played snooker, I smashed my head off the over-head light, which I believe handed him the frame & match

Hows the RX7 anyway?

I know I've seen you play

RX is fine, still having probs getting the Star rollers to give me a decent power figure - will be back on the 1st Feb and 350 will be mine (I really want to see 350 from these turbos before they get changed) assuming we get a few dry days in Jan so I can sort out the mapping . What about you? still got the Focus? or got some other green automobile now?

Nice one! Will we be seeing you at Knockhill next summer?

I sold the focus & picked up an old BMW for £650 The best part is, that it isn't green!

Should be probably the first day at KH around easter time. Plan is to have a few of the southern RX-7 owners up for it.

Summer is less likely as I've got Zandvoort, Spa, MagnyCours and Dijon planned but will see nearer the time

You have a non-green car? that's just not allowed

Hey thanks guys

Crush - we need to try another game of "stick" sometime to see if either of us has improved beyond laughable...

Judge - thank you sent it out on Saturday, just after our conversation. Please let me know if/when it arrives safely.

Be good got a rolling road day at Star on the 1st Feb, supposed to be for RX-7s, but I dare say we could squeeze a couple of 4WD things in if you're interested After that the car will probably be off the road for 6 weeks or so (again) as TOTB preparations begin

Question

Dougster, what power are you expecting and what performance mods do you have on the ambulance now? (keeping track of the attendees)

Rich, as per my e-mail today any chance of sending it to my home account as my work have effectively cut-off e-mail communication

I have a new boot carpet as that is all I want to spend on my "shed"

Might sell my house and contents and buy a new splitter. Will need to stay primed as I am informed paint is way out of my price range!
