Your cars power, weight and performance tie up well using the 1/4 mile calculator I have on my PC (estimates 10.4 @ 136)

Strange how the EVO with less weight and a claimed 800bhp does similar times to your car ?
My calculator estimates a 1370 kg/800 bhp car should be running 9.3 @ 152 mph

FWIW the same calculator is bang on with my own car at 11.6 @ 127

Regarding your next lightweight version, It estimates your target weight would be 1225kg to run in the 9's@141mph ........Go for it

Andy, sorry i cant shed any light on the evo 1/4 mile mystery but i know a man who can!

can your calculator work out what i,d do with say a 1.6 60ft time
i,m going to try a set of slicks on it next to try and knock a couple of tenths off....the toyos on it are no good until they are warmed up

For every tenth of a second you can shave off the 60' time, you can take off 1.5 tenths on the 1/4 mile, on average

Not sure if slicks will work too well at Crail though ? Maybe better with an 'R' rated road tyre like the A032 or A048 yokos ?

so kevs should be doing alot less with saturdays performance on a track like the pod and elvington

I have raced on the tracks you mention and would rate them in the following order of grip (Highest at the top)

Santa Pod (during major events when the track is sprayed)
Elvington
Crail
Santa Pod (when the track is not specially prepped)

I think you misunderstand me, it is a great compliment to Kev that his car as quick as a lighter one claiming to have 800bhp.

and simons isnt lighter trust me its alot heavier and u know that and kev knows the spec too and he doesnt run 800 bhp till 3rd or 4th gear

and i posted that link for u he recently done a 10.1 with 139 terminal speed and while he was still setting it up and he touched 202 miles per hr

and thats sad coz i didnt want to mention **** all like this in this good thread by lynne for kev who is one of the great champions in the uk

and kev himself told me before he used to do 11.5 or 11.7 all the time but when he got his dogbox it came down to 10.86 then 10.76 and then lower he told me he lost over half a sec and he explained that to simon too when he met him thats the difference it made to him just by using the dogbox and simon said himself he would luv to try it but is afraid if it will work on the roads

kev u know very well i didnt take it the wrong way and only touch feel i get is from a nice feminine hand i know the hole andy talks from and i hope u aint in bed with him
and mate as i posted those cars with less mods than u did faster times than u when u had more power and nos with them the time u had your normal gearbox and i showed u the other one that does it in 9.9

and simon did a 10.1 and touched 202 mph so why would i be touchy, i just dont like the bull**** and baiting game all the time but u can bate me anytime

manuels was 144 though at 10.76 u saw his video last week

kev sorry i missed the last part, phone him and he will give u the details

as i said he may have 800 bhp but trust me he doesnt use it till 3rd or 4th gear , he has a problem hitting the revs , he done that at santa pod if u look at the video he beat ron cadell and he wont the God of the pod competition but he only had 700 bhp that time and he first hit the limiter in the video and then he missed a gear no bull millions have seen that video and he still posted 10.89

and he only uses low boost to prevent him hitting the limiter too quick and he has a switcher on the steering wheel i have the same one, u can click it to 1.3 bar then to 1.6 and then to 2 bar of u wish, thats how he does it so he doesnt use 800 bhp from the start at all
