Front brake disc replacement

OK the discs on my 99 UK wagon are sha**ed. I will have to replace them soon and probably when I get back on dry land. So is this a fairly straightforward job? Any complicated or tricky bits?

Biggest prob I`ve had in doin that up2 now is gettin the wheels off to start with (nothing that couldn`t be solved with a BIG rubber mallet) 
After that it`s a POC.

sorry to hi jack but so are my discs and pads shagged. anyone here recomend a nice uprated set ..... drilled grooved etc my car is 97 Catalunya and allways thought the brakes on it to be lacking .
